General Reimbursement

Associates can be reimbursed up to $700 per year ($350 per semester) for completing a course or program, pre-approved by the Company, at a community college, university, or vocational college. These courses are not associated with any degree program.  The benefit is only available for tuition at North Carolina State Universities or North Carolina State Community Colleges.

Eligibility

You may apply for the tuition reimbursement if:

  • You have worked as an employee for SUBMASTERS for the previous 6 months. (Averaging at least 15 hours per week.)
     
  • Any SUBMASTERS employee evaluations, for the previous 6 months, must have been exceptional.

To maintain eligibility, associates must:

  • Be continuously employed by SUBMASTERS during the applied for semester.
  • Have worked an average of 15 hours per week during this period.
  • Have received exceptional evaluations during the period.

No tuition reimbursement will be granted:

  • If the employee quits or is terminated before the final day of the semester.
  • If the employee does not maintain a “C” average or higher on all applied for classes.

Procedures

Pre-approval

  • Complete the PRE_APPROVAL FORM
  • Requests for Pre-approval must be received by:
    • Fall semester:  September 15
    • Spring semester:  January 30
    • Summer semester:  June 20th

Reimbursement

  • Complete the TUITION REIMBURSEMENT FORM
  • Scan and email proof of course completion(report card), and payment receipt to troy@submasters.com OR mail copies to
    • SUBMASTERS, LLC  P.O. Box 1857  Morganton, NC 28680
  • Requests for Tuition Reimbursement must be received within 3 weeks of the end of the semester.
